Function Mission

Grupo Casais Trainee Programme offers direct entry into Construction Operations. Over a 12-month period, you will join site-based teams on live projects, taking on increasing responsibility, supported by experienced mentors, and gaining exposure to key areas of the business.

The programme pathway is tailored to your academic background, ensuring relevant, focused development aligned with the role in which you will grow:

• Architecture – Pre-Construction Technician
• Civil Engineering – Assistant Site Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Join Construction Operations teams in a live site environment;
• Work with BIM methodologies, cost estimation, and strategic project planning;
• Support site execution, subcontractor management, and quality control;
• Develop leadership and on-site team management skills;
• Contribute to logistics and preparation of large-scale projects;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in demanding and innovative environments.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture;
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of professional experience;
• Strong motivation to work in a site-based environment;
• Technical rigor, proactivity, and a strong sense of responsibility;
• Teamwork skills and adaptability to demanding environments;
• Availability for national mobility.

Recruitment Process

Our selection process consists of three stages, all eliminatory. Candidates who successfully complete each stage will receive feedback on their progression:

1. 1. CV screening (assessment of academic background, experience, and motivation);
   2. In-person assessment with the Recruitment & Selection team (group dynamics and assessment of technical and behavioural competencies, as well as career aspirations);
   3. Final interview with Grupo Casais Directors.
